Dimmers are devices that restrict or allow electricity to power the lighting instruments. The dimmer is controlled or "told what to do" by a control board. We have many different types of dimmers. The dimmers vary based on the wattage needed by the light fixtures. Shoe box dimmers are aptly named due to their size and can operate from a household Edison outlet. Larger dimmers require more amperage, so tie-ins may be needed. Our pack and rack dimmers range from 2,400 watts to 12,000 watts capacity.
