Theatrical LightingAtmospheric Effects
Light cannot be seen until it reflects off an object. To create beams of light and other effects, we must put particles into the atmosphere. Various techniques are used to create particles, which in turn create different effects. The most commonly used is the haze effect, because haze is translucent until the beams reflect. Fog and smoke varies from translucent to opaque. Low lying fog is achieved by putting a chiller in front of a fogger with special fluid. The chiller cools the fog so that it lays low to the floor, creating a walking on clouds effect. On the whimsical side, bubble machines produce bubbles which can reflect colored light. We carry a full range of atmospheric effect products. Among them are the F-100 Performance Fog Generator, the DF-50 Hazer with sound dampening case, the Neutron XS Haze Machine and the G300 Mark II Fog Machine. The F-100 Performance Fog Generator is designed to meet the rigorous demands of nightclub, theatrical, and tourism industries. This reliable unit produces any atmosphere, from fine mist to a dense fog. The pump is acoustically isolated from the chassis resulting in a low noise levels, ideal for theatrical and studio work. The F-100 offers multiple control options: a timer/manual controller or a DMX512 remote. The Neutron XS Haze Machine is the evolution of the award-winning S. T. A. R. technology. The XS model has an improved straight type-hazing element, which facilitates greater output and a new self-cleaning mode. Prior to beginning to haze, and every 300 haze cycles, the microprocessor initiates a clean and purge cycle, which substantially reduces residue associated with oil-based products. These technological advancements certainly make the Neutron CS the ultimate hazing machine.
