Fire, water, shimmering horizon, rain, spirals, swirls, glittering stars, and color changing wash. These lighting effects have one thing in common: they all move.  Our motion effects are typically accessories that can be added to lighting fixtures to create these effects and others.  Rotating gobos, color changers, vertical rotators paired with static gobos create a varied effect from subtle to mind boggling.

Gel Scrollers

Color scrollers provide reliable, 16 color changing options with a light fixture. Scrollers are available in three sizes with various mounting plate options for use with a variety of fixtures. Color scrollers require a power supply to recieve DMX control and power. Power supplies, standard and custom gel strings, and control cables are also available.  Other scroller features include state-of-the-art digital circuitry with rotary DMX addressing, automatic scrolling modes to continuously scroll or frame-by-frame step through each color at various speeds.

Gobo rotators used in conjunction with static gobos in a gobo holder can create the image of grease fires, water ripples, whirlpools, twinkling shapes, waving flags, shimmering ghosts, and alternating beams. Advanced gobo rotators, such as Apollo's SmartMove®, have built-in pattern rotators which can be set manually or controlled through a DMX512 control console.

GAM Film FX

GAM Film/FX provides a single direction motion across the focal plane of the instrument. The movement provides a more realistic rain, snow, or cloud movement effect.

Quickly adds pan and tilt functionality to conventional lighting instruments and can be used with cameras and projectors. They are DMX512 controllable along with built-in patters for stand-alone operation.
